About Me
Hi, I'm Aya,
a single mum and therapist who knows how overwhelming parenting can be. My son was born after a wild pregnancy and solo birth, a time when I was deeply connected to my body and intuition.
But life didn’t stay idyllic. Fast forward two years: I was splitting with my ex and moving to another country to start over. Stress levels were through the roof, and that’s when yelling started—despite being a composed, mindful person (and a therapist!). Like all children, my son is a natural “zen master,” constantly pushing my buttons, especially when I was juggling deadlines, priorities, and stress.
That’s when I realised something profound: every time I overreacted to my son, it was never just about him. It was a wound, a trauma, or the echo of something unresolved within me. Once I traced the reaction back to its source, I could release and heal it—and next time, that same situation didn’t push me over the edge.
Now, my son is 3.5, and my shouting is minimal. I still get tested (as all parents do!), but I have a tool that helps me navigate these moments with clarity and compassion. I often hear other parents share the same struggles—yelling, guilt, and feeling stuck in the cycle—which is why I knew I had to share this.
This workshop is the result. It’s simple, effective, and deeply transformational. If I can do it, so can you.
